JOHN RICHARDS

John Richards is a seasoned entrepreneur and educator with over 30 years of entrepreneurship experience. He founded Startup Ignition with a focus on empowering the next generation of entrepreneurs. With extensive real-world experience, John brings a practical approach to teaching entrepreneurship with a methodology that draws from the Lean Startup, with more than 18 years at Brigham Young University, contributing to its #2 ranking in the Princeton Entrepreneur education ranking. He was the entrepreneur in residence and founded many startups.
Frustrated with traditional education, he advocates for a more efficient sharing of entrepreneurship topics of free, courses, events, and faculty, offering a streamlined curriculum and a different training format offering courses and focus on entrepreneurship skills.
